Range Rover Police - 1979/80

Products in preorder status can be bought before arrival to our warehouse. For doing so, just place an order as usual including the products in preorder, and proceed to checkout. You will be charged full price at the end of the checkout process, since those unit/s will be efectively substracted on arrival from the units for sale to every other customer. We do provide an estimated date of arrival for these products, but please note that this date can change due to changes in their manufacturer schedules or release dates, which is totally beyond our control. Once stock arrives, pre-orders will be dispatched in strict purchase date order.

This is a scale model kit to be assembled by an adult; it includes all the parts as indicated, but it does not include glue or paints, that you can also buy at DModelkits Store.

This is a re-edition of the Italeri scale model kit, using Esci molds, of the Range Rover Police version.

Besides features like the rotating roof lights and the front siren, the kit includes decals for choosing between three different versions: British Transport Police (1980), British Greater Manchester Police (1979), and Dutch Rijkspolitie (1979).

The assembled model is approximately 24.1 cm long.

The Range Rover Classic was a milestone in the history of off-road vehicles.

It was produced, in numerous variants and versions, from 1970 to 1996.

It was the first vehicle produced under the "Range Rover" brand and, from 1981, it was available in two- or four-door versions.

Thanks to its 4x4 traction and its robust structure—simple in design yet very reliable—the Range Rover offered good off-road performance.

Used by law enforcement agencies and police departments, it was ideal for operating in the countryside, parks, and rural areas.

Highly appreciated by crews during long patrols and for carrying out special operations, including the transport of canine units.

In the 1980s and 1990s it became a true symbol of the British police, with its reassuring presence in every corner of the country.
