Tamiya reissue of the 1981 Nissan Leopard 280X two-door hardtop scale model kit features updated decals and instruction manual. The 1/24 Nissan Leopard 2-Door 280X SF-L plastic model kit brings a sharply drawn 2-door hardtop shape to the workbench, with a finished size of 193 mm long, 75 mm wide and 56 mm high.

The Nissan Leopard, introduced in September 1980, was a luxury car available in two- and four-door versions, with the 280X SF-L being the top-of-the-range model.

Its angular body lines give the car a distinctly period look, while the completed form sits with the low, composed stance expected from this road-going coupe.

Beyond the exterior, the luxurious interior is rendered with attention to cabin layout, and the chassis underside is also reproduced for a fuller view of the car above and below.

A sitting figure is included to add presence inside the cabin.

The movable sun roof can be switched between open and closed after assembly, so the roof treatment does not stay fixed once the build is complete.

Updated decals such as logos and new metal transfers are supplied for the rear-view mirror and fender mirror surfaces, giving the finishing stage extra precision where small trim details matter.
